Francesco Zacchè
Enrolled in the special register of the Milan Bar Association, he practises as of counsel.
Associate Professor of Criminal Procedural Law at the University of Milan Bicocca, he teaches Elements of Criminal Procedure, Penitentiary Law and Judicial and Forensic Order in the three-year degree courses in Legal Services and in the Master's degree courses in Law.
In 2018, he qualified as a full professor in the disciplinary field of criminal procedural law.
Previously he had been also a lecturer in Criminal Procedure at the Master's degree course in Law for Fiscal Police Officer Cadets Academy in Bergamo from a.y. 2004/2005 until a.y. 2018/2019.
In 2018, he was a Visiting Professor at the McGeorge School of Law, University of Pacific, Sacramento, California, USA.
He is the director of the interdisciplinary Master's degree on the rights of children and adolescents - MIDIA - organised by the University of Milan-Bicocca and U.N.I.C.E.F.
He is specialised in the field of precautionary proceedings, especially on personal personal precautionary measures, special proceedings and in proceedings before the European Courts of Justice.
He is a member of the Supervisory Board of major companies.
He was a member of the Scientific Committee of Contemporary Criminal Law and participates in the Editorial Committee of the journal Archivio penale.
He is the author the following volumes: Il giudizio abbreviato (tr. "The summary trial", Milan, 2004), La prova documentale (tr. "Documentary evidence", Milan, 2012), Criterio di necessità e misure cautelari personali ("Criterion of necessity and personal precautionary measures", Milan, 2018), as well as co-author of the handbook Sistema di procedura penale ("Criminal Procedure System", Milan, 2020), and of numerous contributions that have appeared in leading legal journals, in collective volumes and in national newspapers.
He had been a member of the Scientific Committee of Contemporary Criminal Law and participates in the Editorial Board of the journal Archivio penale.
He is also a member of the Scientific Committee, as well as editor of the Obsevatory of ECHR Jurisprudence, of Sistema penale Law Review.
He has also given numerous lectures at national and international scientific conferences, as well as lecturing in Level I and II Masters courses, in Schools of Specialisation in Legal Professions and at the Scuola Superiore della Magistratura.
He is a member of the Association of Scholars of the Criminal Process - A.S.P.P. - and of the Association Internationale de Droit Pénal - A.I.D.P.

Trainee
Antonio Todaro
He graduated in Law with full marks from the Milan State University with a dissertation in tax law about domestic and European tax frauds, specifically focusing on the reverse charge system within the intra-euro trade.
Since September 2019, in conjunction with his university studies, he has been working with Raffaele Bergaglio, dealing exclusively with criminal law, both in and out of court.
By virtue of the aforementioned professional experience, he has acquired specialised skills in relation to tax, corporate, and bankruptcy offences, in negligent offences in the field of health and safety regulations, and in the main offences against the public administration. He has also acquired skills in relation to corporate compliance under Legislative Decree 231/2001.
During his university experience, he held representative positions within academic bodies, mainly dealing with university fees and teaching programs.
